The Odisha government on Saturday announced dates for annual High School Certificate (HSC) or the Matriculation and Plus II examinations within the State.
As per the most recent information, the annual Matriculation examination will be held on May 3. The examination will conclude on May 15.
Similarly, the Plus II or class 12 examination in the State can be carried out between May 15 and June 11.
Earlier, the State government had announced to reopen schools for Class 10, 12 students from January 8. All the schools across the State were closed since March as a result of unprecedented challenges and situations due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The classes for Class 10 and 12 students will begin from January 8 and can carried out for a period of 100 days till April 28, 2021.
The practical examinations for Class 10 students can be conducted between April 29 and May 2. Similarly, the practical examinations for Plus II students can be carried out between April 29 and May 14.
Senior government officials informed that the classes for Standard 10 and 12 students can be carried out on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. A detailed SOP has been ready which can be taken into consideration for reopening of government, aided and private schools across the State.
