Bhubaneswar: Physical classes for Class 11 students in Odisha will start from October 21. In addition to, schools will reopen for Class 8 students from October 25 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash informed this here today.
All District Education Officers (DEOs) have been directed to make essential arrangements in this regard at the earliest. A meeting of all DEOs will be held tomorrow, official sources mentioned.
However, no decision has been taken regarding reopening of schools for Class 1 to Class 7 students.
Earlier, offline classes for Class IX and Class XII students had resumed in the state following improvement in COVID situation.
