Heavy rain is expected to fall in isolated areas of Odisha over the next two days as a result of a low pressure area over the Bay of Bengal, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday.

Its influence is very likely to cause fairly widespread or widespread light to moderate rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall over Odisha on October 5 and 6.
Today, heavy rain is expected in one or two locations across the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nawarangpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri, Khurda, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, and Balasore.
