The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup will begin Today with two opening matches at Bhubaneswar’s Kalinga Stadium. Morocco, Brazil, India, and the United States are competing for the first time.
Morocco will play Brazil at 4.30 p.m., while India will play the United States at 8 p.m.
Brazil, the reigning continental champions, are making their third consecutive appearance, having never advanced beyond the quarter-finals, while Morocco is making their competition debut.
The United States has world titles at both the senior and U-20 levels but has yet to win one in this age group. India is competing in a FIFA women’s competition for the first time.
