India and South Africa 3rd ODI Highlights: India defeated South Africa by 7 wickets in the 3rd One-Day International (ODI) in New Delhi. The series was now 2-1 in favor of India. Dhawan and Shubman Gill got India off to a strong start, chasing a meager 100 runs. While Dhawan was taken off at 8, Gill went on to score 49. Shreyas Iyer, the man in form, then put the finishing touches on the show, as India completed the run-chase in just 19.1 overs. Earlier in the day, the Indian bowlers annihilated the South African batters, dismissing them for 99 in 27.1 overs, their lowest ODI total. Kuldeep Yadav was the most successful wicket-taker, with four wickets in 4.1 overs.
South Africa never got into the game, losing wickets at regular intervals. It all began with Washington Sundar dismissing Quinton de Kock early in the sixth inning after Shikhar Dhawan invited the visitors to bat. Mohammed Siraj then quickly removed Janneman Malan and Reeza Hendricks. Aiden Markram, who went down on 9 against Shahbaz Ahmed, also failed to make an impression. On 7, Sundar annihilated stand-in captain David Miller. Kuldeep then quickly removed the tailenders.
