The stage is set for the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup (HWC) 2023, which will be hosted by Odisha at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and the newly built Bisra Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela.
Paper tickets for the HWC 2023 go on sale on Monday (December 19), with the first match scheduled for January 13, 2023. The sale of World Cup tickets online has already begun on November 24 at Paytm Insider.
Tickets can be purchased or redeemed at the Box Office, which is located near Gate No. 8 of the Kalinga Hockey Stadium in Bhubaneswar on the Reserve Police Line Ground.
Meanwhile, fans in Rourkela can purchase tickets at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium near Gate 6 – (East & South Stand) and Gate 2- (North & West Stand).
The Kalinga Hockey Stadium and Rourkela Stadium box offices will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, December 19.

The Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium has a seating capacity of over 20,000, and the Kalinga Stadium in the Capital City can accommodate over 15,000.

Every four years, the world’s best teams compete in some of the most difficult and entertaining international hockey. The Hockey World Cup Qualification Tournaments determine which 16 top teams will compete in the FIH Hockey World Cup.
This will be the 15th edition of the Men’s HWC, which has seen 605 matches since the inaugural tournament in 1971, which Pakistan won. Odisha, India’s sports capital, will host the Hockey World Cup for the second time, with Belgium winning the first in 2018.
