It’s the first week of March, and daytime temperatures are rising across the state’s major towns and cities. In Odisha, at least 15 locations recorded a maximum temperature of 37 degrees Celsius or higher in the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature, 37.8 degrees, was recorded in Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur, and Jharsuguda. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), dry weather prevailed in all districts over the last 24 hours.
