Acer has launched its latest environmentally friendly laptop, the Aspire Vero 2023, in India. This laptop’s body is comprised of 30% PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) materials, and the keycaps are made of 50% PCR material. Furthermore, the corporation has vowed to plant one tree for every laptop purchased through its official website on June 5th.
The Aspire Vero 2023 edition, dubbed the “green PC,” is available in two configurations. It has a 13th generation Intel Core i3/i5 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of SSD storage. The laptop has a 14-inch 1080p display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, Acer Technicolor Color certification, and a screen-to-body ratio of 80.01%.
The laptop contains a Microsoft Office Home and Student subscription as well as the Windows 11 operating system pre-installed. The device includes a 720p inbuilt webcam with Temporal Noise Reduction to improve image quality. It also has dual speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The notebook has a USB Type-C Thunderbolt 4 connector for quicker data transfer and can output to an external monitor. It has a ten-keyless keyboard with an LED backlight and a glass trackpad with multi-gesture and two-finger scrolling capabilities. A fingerprint sensor is also included in the laptop. A dedicated HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and two USB-A 3.2 connections are also included.
The Acer Aspire Vero is powered by a 50Wh battery with fast charging capabilities. The Aspire Vero’s base model with the Intel Core i3-1315U processor costs Rs 49,999, while the high-end model with the Intel Core i5-1335U processor costs Rs 64,999.
