When the Prime Minister lacks confidence to make a speech in Parliament; keeps’maun’ (silence) on crimes against women in Manipur till the Supreme Court responds; keeps’maun’ on Brij Bhushan, claims no territory is seized by China, how can INDIA have faith in him?”
Meanwhile, representatives from INDIA parties gathered in the Rajya Sabha chamber of Leader of the Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge ahead of the fifth day of the Monsoon Session.
In a tweet, the Congress said, “INDIA wants that there should be a discussion on Manipur in the House, but the Modi government is running away from the discussion. Today, a meeting of opposition parties was held in the chamber of Congress President and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha regarding this demand.”
The opposition has been demanding that the Prime Minister make a thorough statement in Parliament Monsoon Session about the Manipur situation. The opposition has also demanded a thorough debate in Parliament.
