Mercury Rises Across Odisha; Dry Weather Likely To Prevail

For the past twenty-four hours, Odisha has seen dry weather. According to the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) midday report on Wednesday, there were one or two locations in interior Odisha experiencing shallow to moderate fog, while there were one or two locations in Bhadrak and Angul that had dense fog.

There was a noticeable increase in low temperatures in one or two locations within the interior of Odisha, while there was little to no change in other districts. In the plains of Odisha, Phulbani recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 11.0°C and Paralakhemundi the highest maximum temperature of 33.0°C.

Weather forecast in Odisha:

Day 1 (Valid up to 0830 hrs IST of 01.02.2024)

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha. Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at one or two places in Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, and Nayagarh.

Day 2 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 01.02.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 02.02.2024)

Light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places in Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

Day 3 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 02.02.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 03.02.2024)

Light rain is very likely to occur at one or two places in Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, and Dhenkanal, and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

Day 4 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 03.02.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 04.02.2024)

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.

Day 5 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 04.02.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 05.02.2024)

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha. NIL

Day 6 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 05.02.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 06.02.2024)

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.

Day 7 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 06.02.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 07.02.2024)

Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha.
