In Odisha, the Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam-Bhubaneswar Vande Bharat Express regular service began on Sunday.
According to a statement from East Coast Railway, the train will run every day except Monday.
The train departed Bhubaneswar at 5.15 am and is scheduled to depart Visakhapatnam at 3.30 pm, according to a statement from the East Coast Railway.
On the route between Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam, the medium-distance superfast express train would stop at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Berhampur, Ichhapuram, Srikakulam Road, and Vizianagaram.
Notably, on March 12, Prime Minister Narendra Modi essentially launched the third Vande Bharat Express for Odisha.
The first Vande Bharat train began running between Puri and Howrah in May of last year, while the second train, which connected Puri to Rourkela, began service in September of the same year.
