The much awaited match between the reigning champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will kick off the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on Friday.
Despite being the five-time champions, CSK is still chasing their first IPL trophy, but RCB is still the favorite because they have elite players on their team.
In the 31 games that the two sides have played, the yellow brigade has prevailed. RCB has won ten of the matches, while CSK has won twenty and one has ended in a draw. The Chennai team also had a 4-1 advantage in the previous five games.

The CSK vs RCB IPL 2024 opener will take place on Friday. Match starts at 8:00 PM IST (2:30 PM GMT) with toss taking place half an hour prior to the match i.e., 7:30 PM (2:00 PM GMT).
