On Monday, the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced the notification for Odisha’s third phase of elections. On May 25, elections will be held in the Lok Sabha constituencies of Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Puri, and Bhubaneswar, as well as the 42 Assembly seats that they represent.
The nomination procedure for the third phase of the state election will begin on Monday and will go until May 6. According to the ECI statement, nomination papers will be checked on May 7, and the deadline for withdrawing nominations is May 9.
On May 25, 94,41,797 voters will cast ballots in 42 Assembly constituencies. There are 46,14,134 female electorates and 48,26,375 male voters.
The notification for the second phase of voting in Odisha was issued on April 26. The second phase of voting will take place in Odisha on May 20.
