The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha revealed the results of the matriculation examination on Sunday, with 96.07% of students passing.
Girls outperformed boys in the results, scoring 96.73%. The pass rate for boys is 96.39%.
Similarly, a total of 5,041,61 candidates took the exam. 5,301,53 pupils have passed the test.
There were 2,644 schools with 100% scores, while none had 0% results. Khhurda district had the highest pass percentage of 97.98%, while Nuapada ranked worst at 93.91%.
Cuttack has a pass rate of 97.58%, Jagatsinghpur has 97.6%, Kendrapara has 95.77%, Jajpur has 95.92%, Angul has 96.63%, Dhenkanal has 95.12%, Puri has 96.76%, Nayagarh has 96.23%, Balasore has 96.1%, Bhadrak has 96.73%, and Keonjhar has 96.73%.
Mayurbhanj recorded 95.7%, 97.08% in Gajapati, 97.06% in Ganjam, 95.49% in Boudh, 96.6% in Kandhamal, 95.86% in Kalahandi, 93.91% in Nuapada, 97.64% in Bargarh, 97.64% in Sambalpur 96.73%, 96.71% in Deogarh, 97.28% in Jharsuguda, 94.39% in Balangir, 97.11% in Subarnapur, 97.24% in Sundargarh, 94.82% in Koraput, 95.04% in Malkangari, 94.88% in Nabarangpur and 96.16% in Rayagada.
One hour after the announcement, the results will be available on the board website www.bseodisha.ac.in i.e. from 11:30 AM. Candidates can also know the result through SMS. They have to send SMS, writing OR10 (roll number) to 5676750.
Successful students can download their digital certificates from 4 pm onwards on the board website. Students can get the same by sending SMS to 7710058192 writing BSE/Hi.
The matric exams began on February 20 and ended on March 4. This year, a total of 5,516,11 candidates appeared the test.
The BSE has asked students to apply for rechecking between May 29 and June 12. Students can only do this online.
The board administrators announced that registration for the supplemental examination will commence on June 10.
