UGC NET City intimation 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) today issued city intimation slips for all tests until September 4. The NTA, meanwhile, has not provided the city slip for the August 27 exam. Students who have registered for the exam can get the city slip from the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Students must provide their registration number, date of birth, and captcha code to obtain the city intimation slip.
The Agency has further asked the students to check photo, signature and QR code on their UGC NET city intimation. In case, if either the photo, signature or the QR code is missing, kindly re-download it, said the testing agency.
UGC NET June 2024: How to check city intimation slip
Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of UGC NET – ugcnet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the Advance Exam City Intimation link provided on the homepage
Step 3: Fill in your application number and date of birth along with the given captcha
Step 4: The candidate exam city intimation slip will be visible
Step 5: The candidates can view and save the city slip from there for future use.
Appearing candidates should be aware that this is not the UGC NET admit card, but rather advance information for the allotment of the city where the examination center will be placed, in order to help the candidates. Hall tickets will be distributed later.
NTA will administer NET June 2024 in a computer-based test (CBT) format for 83 subjects in various cities around the country from August 21 to September 4, i.e. August 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 30, September 2, 3, and 4.
Meanwhile, the agency announced in a notification that due to Krishna Janmashtami on August 26, exams scheduled for that day will be held on August 27 instead. The remaining schedule of the UGC NET shall stay unchanged until further notice. On August 26, NTA was required to administer the following exams: philosophy, Hindi, Oriya, Nepali, Manipuri, Assamese, and Santali, all seven language papers. “The slips for the August 27th, 2024 scheduled exams will be released shortly,” an official notice noted.
