The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the admit card for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024. Candidates who have registered for the test can download their admit cards from ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The admit cards for the exams on August 21, 22, and 23 have now been distributed.
The June session of UGC NET 2024 will be held from August 21 to September 4. The test will be administered online using a Computer Based Test (CBT) format. Previously, the test was administered using pen and paper. Except for the language papers, all question papers will be in English or Hindi.
To access the website and download admission cards, candidates will need to enter their registration number and date of birth. If applicants are unable to download their admit cards, they should contact the NTA’s helpdesk between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
This admit card will contain candidate information such as their name, the topics for which they have applied, the exam centre, and the date of the examination. It is the applicants’ ticket to enter the exam center on the day of the examination.

The UGC NET test encompasses 83 distinct disciplines, including English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Oriya, History, Chinese, French, Persian, Spanish, sociology, visual arts, labor welfare, library and information science, mass communication and journalism, and many more.
The UGC NET is held twice a year in June and December, respectively. The purpose of this exam is to determine an Indian’s eligibility for Junior Research Fellowships, Assistant Professorships, and admissions to PhD programs given by various schools across the country.
