The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) released the proposed dates for the annual Plus II board examination, which will begin on February 15, 2025. This advance notice is meant to help students and educational institutions complete their coursework on time.
According to CHSE, the practical tests will take place between December 26, 2024 and January 15, 2025. However, the board has the right to amend the dates as needed, and any changes will be informed to students via their schools and institutions, as well as publicized on the board’s website. CHSE hopes that by publishing exam dates in advance, students would be able to better manage their time, decrease stress, and plan their studies.
Prashant Kumar Parida, the Board Chairman, made the statement.
The board has decided to modify the question paper design for the Plus II exams in 2025. Students will now be required to take an 80-mark theory exam rather than the regular 100-mark exam. To pass, students must obtain at least 24 marks, or 30% of the total. The remaining 20 marks will be used for internal assessments. However, the internal marks will not be used with the theory marks to determine pass or fail.
