A yellow alert has been issued for several districts in Odisha, including Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Balasore, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, and Keonjhar, as a low-pressure region forms over the southwest and surrounding west-central Bay of Bengal.
This weather condition has been forecast by the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts mild to moderate rain, thundershowers, and lightning in these districts as a result of its influence.
Residents are advised to remain vigilant and relocate to safer areas to prevent lightning strikes.
