The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have opened the Common Admission Test (CAT 2024) edit window for candidates. Candidates can only change their pictures, signatures, and city preferences in the CAT application form on the official website iimcat.ac.in until September 30.
This option is only available to candidates who paid the registration fee and successfully registered for the CAT 2024 by the given deadline.
“Edit window for updating only the photograph, signature and city preferences, if required by the candidate, will be available from September 27 (10.00 am) to September 30 (5.00 pm), 2024, for those who have submitted their application forms successfully.” read the website.
To make the necessary modifications, candidates must log in to their dashboards using the proper credentials. Once completed, only the pictures, signature, and city preferences sections of the online application form will be clickable and customizable. CAT candidates are recommended to upload the above documents in the appropriate format.
This year, the CAT 2024 exam will be held on November 24 at several exam cities around the country.
Candidates must register with an active email address and phone number during the admissions process. The authority will contact and interact with the applicant using the registered contact information.
The test is administered for admission to postgraduate, fellowship, or doctoral level business courses offered by Indian Institutes of Management across the country (IIMs). Several non-IIM institutes also use the CAT in their admission processes.
Last year, 3.28 lakh individuals enrolled for the CAT exam, with approximately 2.88 lakh applicants taking the exam. Furthermore, registration for several MBA entrance exams grew in 2023, by nearly 30% for CAT, 25% for SNAP, and 18% for MAT, compared to 2022.
