The Odisha government will conduct a meeting and interactive session with ambassadors from various nations in New Delhi on Thursday, ahead of the state’s main business event, Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave.
The event will be attended by ambassadors from various nations, high commissioners, consul generals, trade commissioners, and top diplomats from around the world. The government will present a “vibrant industrial ecosystem and emerging investment opportunities” to a worldwide audience at the event.
A high-level delegation will attend the meeting, which will be chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
The strategic engagement intends to strengthen international alliances while also highlighting Odisha’s role in India’s industrial recovery.
The discussions focus on Odisha’s industrial potential, enabling policies, ease of doing business, and ongoing efforts to create an investor-friendly environment.
Industries Secretary Hemant Sharma said that the Chief Minister will personally invite global stakeholders to the Utkarsh Odisha: Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, which will be hosted in Bhubaneswar on January 28 and 29, 2025.
During the Ambassadors’ meeting, G2B (government-to-business) discussions are planned, and the Chief Minister will meet with industry executives from several sectors. The government will also organize an interactive session with the Chief Minister aimed at industries in the Delhi NCR region.
Business executives and investors from various sectors have been invited to discuss how Odisha may be a major destination for their expansion ambitions.
The ambassadors’ meeting and interactive session are critical forums for communicating Odisha’s message of growth, partnership, and opportunity to both international and domestic investors. The business summit is scheduled to bring together international corporate leaders, industry experts, policymakers, and diplomats.
