Pravati Parida, the deputy chief minister of Odisha, urged eligiuble women who live and work outside the state to register for the Subhadra Yojana as soon as possible on Tuesday.
She told the reporters that it is important for qualified women to apply as soon as possible because the fourth component of the first installment would be paid out shortly.
“I urge all women who are eligible but currently living outside the state or working in migration to apply for the scheme as soon as possible. It has come to my attention that many eligible women have not yet applied and we want to ensure that they receive the financial assistance,” Parida stated.
The Deputy Chief Minister emphasised that the government intends to provide benefits to all eligible beneficiaries and that disbursement will happen as soon as the applications are received.
“The last beneficiary will be included and financial support will be provided without delay,” she added.
Parida also assured that the final list of beneficiaries will be finalized shortly.
It is expected that more than 20 lakh women will benefit financially in the fourth phase. She added that a large number of women had already applied for the program using the portal’s opt-in feature.
