Odisha Weather: Rain likely to continue in Odisha till Feb 25, rainfall to increase tomorrow

Rain is expected to persist in Odisha until February 25. Again, rainfall will increase beginning tomorrow. This was expected by the MeT Department.

According to the weather forecast, light to moderate rainfall is expected in various parts of the state due to the influence of the trough line that extends to Gangetic West Bengal and Telangana. The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre has predicted lightning, thunder, and hail in various parts of the state.

Last night, heavy rain fell across the state, coupled with thunder and lightning.

Rain is expected in several areas of Balasore and Mayurbhanj today. Balasore and Mayurbhanj have received a yellow warning for lightning and thunder.

Similarly, light to moderate rain is expected in 11 districts tomorrow, coupled with lightning and thunder. Lightning and thunder with wind speeds of 40 to 50 km/h have prompted an orange warning in three districts and a yellow warning in fourteen.

The minimum temperature has fallen due to the light rain. There is no chance of a significant shift in temperature over the next 4 to 5 days.
