The Government of Odisha School and Mass Education Department announced on Monday that schools in Odisha will reopen on June 20 rather than June 18.
The Government of Odisha School and Mass Education Department State Project Management Unit (PM Poshan) sent a letter to the State Nodal Officer (PM Poshan) and all District Education Officers, providing specific details.
The letter read, “Rectification in the earlier issued instructions on serving of MDM after reopening of the schools.” Further the letter said, “In partial modification of the instructions issued vide the above mentioned letters, it is to informed you that the date of reopening of the schools may be read as 20.06.2025 instead of 18.06.2025.”
The letter further specified that, “All other instructions communicated vide the letters shall be stand as such.” It is worth mentioning here that midday meals shall be provided from the day of opening.
