Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for implementing the historic Next-Generation GST reforms. These changes aim to empower Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), create jobs, increase consumption, and improve people’s financial capabilities.

The updated 2-slab structure marks a positive shift in the way we produce and consume. Manufacturers and producers would be incentivized to build for and make in India as compliance becomes easier and GST on MSMEs is decreased. This, in turn, will result in a more resilient and robust economy founded on the foundation of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
