It is worth noting that before to the game, Kuldeep was tied with Amjad Javed for the tournament’s most wickets in this edition, with 12 wickets each. However, his wicket pushed him up to 13th place, and he currently leads the standings alone.

Suryakumar Yadav opened up on India’s performance against Sri Lanka

In their penultimate game of the Asia Cup 2025, India defeated Sri Lanka by a huge margin. After both teams scored 202 runs, the game proceeded to the super over, where India chased down three runs to win.

Suryakumar Yadav, India’s captain, walked to the stage following the match to discuss his team’s performance. “It felt like a finale. After the first half, the boys had great grit in the second innings. I told them to play it like a semi-final. Bring everyone in, have a good energy, and then see what happens. “It’s good to be on the winning side,” Suryakumar Yadav stated during the post-match presentation ceremony.
