The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts the creation of a new low pressure region over the southeast and adjacent east-central Bay of Bengal tomorrow.
This weather system is likely to form as a result of upper air cyclonic circulation that is now present over the southeast Bay of Bengal and the surrounding south Andaman Sea, reaching middle tropospheric levels.
According to the IMD, the low pressure area is expected to move west-northwest and build into a more major weather system over the next 24 hours.
However, meteorologists are keenly monitoring its path for further strengthening or probable cyclonic activity.
Residents in Southern Odisha are urged to monitor IMD bulletins for timely weather advisories.
