Due to the interruptions created by Cyclone Montha and the accompanying holidays in numerous districts, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, has extended the deadline for student enrollment in the Annual Plus II Examination 2026.
According to an official letter sent to all CHSE-affiliated higher secondary schools, regular students can now enroll and ex-regular students can fill out forms without paying a fine until November 11, 2025.
Students who missed the initial deadline can still enroll by paying a late fee of ₹200 between November 13 and November 18, or ₹600 between November 19 and November 21, 2025.
The council has directed all institutions to deposit examination fees through SBI Collect within the specified time frame.
The CHSE also stressed that the extended enrollment timeline applies to students from all streams – Arts, Commerce, Science, and Vocational — including those taking correspondence courses.
The judgment provides relief to thousands of pupils affected by cyclone-related interruptions in educational and administrative activities across the state.
