BSE Odisha Special OTET Result 2025 Out: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) of Odisha has declared the results of the Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (SOTET) 2025. Candidates can get their results at the official website, bseodisha.ac.in. This year, 75,403 candidates enrolled for Papers 1 and 2, with 72,413 declared qualified. Notably, 48,153 candidates passed both examinations, bringing the total pass rate to 66.50%.
According to the official statement, the results were made accessible on the board’s website beginning at 1 p.m. Qualified candidates can get their digitized credentials after paying the relevant costs between November 15 (4 p.m.) and January 15, 2026 (midnight).
Meanwhile, candidates who did not qualify can access and download their OMR answer sheets from the same portal, which will remain available until November 22 from 4 pm onwards.
The Special Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2025 was conducted on September 27 for the certification of in-service teachers across schools in the state. Paper 1 was designed for teachers of Classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 was meant for teachers of Classes 6 to 8.
According to the Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE), the exam had a high level of participation. In Paper 1, a total of 29,004 applicants registered, with 27,533 appearing and 12,988 qualifying, for a pass rate of 47.17 percent. For Paper 2, 46,399 applicants registered, 44,880 appeared, and 35,165 passed, resulting in a better pass percentage of 78.35 percent.
Overall, 75,403 candidates enrolled for both examinations, with 72,413 appearing. Out of them, 48,153 individuals qualified, bringing the total pass rate to 66.50 percent. This demonstrates a strong performance in Paper 2 compared to Paper 1, indicating subject-specific differences in success rates among in-service instructors.
