Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has called an urgent high-level meeting on Thursday afternoon.
The gathering will mostly evaluate the current law and order situation in the state. Chief Secretary Anu Garg, Director General of Police (DGP), and all District Superintendents of Police (SPs) will attend the meeting via video conference.
According to a letter from the Planning & Convergence Department’s Additional Secretary, the Chief Secretary will also assess the status of the implementation of personal notesheets sent by the Chief Minister to various departments. The Law Department plans to present a detailed report named ‘Samadhan Samaroh’ on the resolution of long-pending cases.
A Secretary-level meeting will also take place on the 8th floor of Kharavela Bhawan, chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg. This conference will focus on four major themes, including a review of income collection and government expenditure in the current fiscal year 2026-27, as well as the status of the Panchayati Raj Department’s execution of a new plan agreed by the previous Cabinet for drinking water management.
