The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has postponed the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2026 from June 28 to July 5, 2026.
According to a press statement published by the BSE, the examination will now take place on Sunday, July 5. Paper I will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and Paper II from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The board has made it clear, however, that candidates who have already downloaded their admit cards for a previous date do not need to do so again.
The OTET and recruiting tests for RI, ARI, and Amin jobs were scheduled to take place on June 28. This overlap had left aspirants in a state of confusion and dilemma.
The new schedule is expected to guarantee that all tests run smoothly and that hopefuls have ample preparation time.
