On Friday, the Odisha government would award financial support under the ‘CM-KISAN’ (Rabi 2026-27) initiative. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will present the aid at a special ceremony at the OUAT Krishi Shiksha Sadan in Bhubaneswar.
Over 41 lakh small, marginal, Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) and landless farmer families in the state will benefit directly from the plan.Over Rs 833 crore would be delivered directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts via DBT, with the goal of empowering farmers and encouraging agricultural activity.
Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment, will attend the state-level event, along with other dignitaries. Other ministers will take part in district-level programs and distribute CM-KISAN installments.
