Stock Market Highlights on Monday, Nov 2, 2026: The benchmark indices rose for the third consecutive session as oil prices fell amid hopeful sentiment regarding US-Iran negotiations. Moreover, Reliance Industries stocks increased significantly, contributing to the upward trend.
The Sensex increased by 1,233.25 points or 1.66 percent to reach 75,692.78, while the Nifty50 advanced by 387.70 points to 23,440.80.
Reliance Industries, Tata Steel, and JSW Steel were the leading gainers in the Nifty50 index.
In the wider markets, the Nifty MidCap 100 increased by 1.19 percent while the Nifty SmallCap 100 climbed by 0.71 percent.
In terms of sectors, Nifty Oil and Gas and Nifty Metal saw the largest increases, whereas Nifty IT and Nifty Media experienced the most significant decreases.
