The Ministry of External Affairs’ Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) is inviting applications for the Atal Bihari Vaipayee General Scholarship Scheme. Interested candidates can apply for the scholarship at a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in, the official website.
According to the official announcement, the ICCR A2A scholarship portal opens today, on February 20 and candidates will have until April 30 to submit scholarship registration applications. Varsities will then have until May 31 to notify candidates of their decision.
The Indian Mission abroad has until June 30 to allocate scholarships and generate offer letters, and candidates have until July 15 to accept the offer letter.
The last date for Indian Missions to offer scholarships to other students who were not considered in the first round is July 22, and the process will conclude on July 30 based on the number of acceptances in the first round (if acceptances are less than the scholarship seats allocated).
Because English is the medium of instruction in Indian universities, candidates applying for this scholarship program must be sufficiently fluent in English to pursue the academic lecture. Furthermore, applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30 for undergraduate programs and between the ages of 18 and 45 for PhD programs.
Similarly, the Silver Jubilee Scholarship Scheme (for PG and doctorate courses) and the Lata Mangeshkar Dance and Music Scholarship Scheme have their own scholarship scheme will also be open from February 20 till April 30.
