CBSE extends deadline to conduct Class 10, 12 practical exams, upload marks

It further added: “Keeping in view the requests received from the schools…it has been decided that these schools will be given one last opportunity for the conduct of practical exams/ project/ internal assessment/ internal grade 2024 and uploading of marks thereof on the portal latest by March 31, 2024.”

The board this year also issued a list of subjects with marks distribution to help the schools conduct the Class 10 and Class 12 practical exams smoothly. CBSE had also announced that the maximum marks allotted to a subject will be 100 with marks distributed amongst theory, practical, project, and internal assessment components.

The theoretical board examinations for classes 10 and 12 this year began on February 15 and are still in process.

Students taking the Class 10 and Class 12 exams in 2024 will not receive any overall division, distinction, or aggregate award from CBSE at this time. The board will not compute, announce, or provide information regarding the percentage of marks.
