On Wednesday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik met top leaders of India Inc. at the curtain raiser event for the Make in Odisha Conclave in Mumbai and invited them to invest in Odisha.
Apart from traditional sectors, the Odisha government wants to attract more investments in fintech, investment and commercial banks, financial agencies, stock markets, and so on. It promises to make doing business easier.
Patnaik, who met with ambassadors and top businessmen from over a dozen countries in New Delhi in August, will host the third ‘Make in Odisha’ conclave in Bhubaneshwar this November 3-December 4.
Previously, the Odisha Chief Minister hosted similar meetings for industrialists in Ahmedabad, New Delhi, and Dubai. Following Mumbai, similar investor meetings in Bengaluru and Hyderabad are possible in the future.
