Commonwealth Games 2022 Updates, Day 11: Indian shuttler PV Sindhu wins women’s singles gold at the Commonwealth Games with a 21-15 21-13 victory over Canada’s Michelle Li. Lakshya Sen will compete in the men’s singles final next. Sen will compete against Malaysian shuttler Tze Yong NG. Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty of India will also compete in their gold medal match in men’s doubles.
The Indian men’s hockey team hopes to end Australia’s dominance in the Commonwealth Games by winning their first gold medal in the quadrennial showpiece. In the six editions of the CWG, India has never won a gold medal.
