If we look at the data by state, Kerala is currently the most coronavirus-affected state. There are now 430 active coronavirus infections in Kerala. Many states, including Andaman and Nicobar, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir, are currently free of active COVID-19 cases, which is a relief. However, two instances of coronavirus have also been identified in Bihar. On the other side, four deaths from COVID-19 have been documented in Maharashtra, two in Kerala, and one in Karnataka. However, 305 people have recovered from COVID-19 over this time.
Health ministry’s guidelines
Experts feel that now is not the time to be irresponsible. People have been reminded to exercise caution due to the changing weather and Christmas season. The Health Ministry has urged people to use masks in crowded areas and be tested right once if they have symptoms. The situation in the country is currently under control, but the health department is continuously vigilant. The administration intends to tighten immunization and monitoring measures in the coming days.
