Corona has once again started to cause havoc in India. It is now spreading rapidly. The number of current COVID-19 cases in the country has surpassed 1,000. From Kerala to Karnataka, and from Maharashtra to Delhi, the new coronavirus figures are becoming concerning. Yes, there has been another spike in COVID-19 instances in the country. According to the most recent data published by the Ministry of Health, India currently has 1009 active COVID-19 cases. This is the first time this year that the number of coronavirus cases in the country has exceeded 1,000.
According to the Health Ministry’s data, 752 of India’s 1009 active cases have been recorded recently. This shows that the coronavirus is gradually spreading its legs. If we look at the data by state, Kerala is currently the most coronavirus-affected state. There are now 430 active coronavirus infections in Kerala. After this, Maharashtra has 209 active cases, Delhi has 104, and Karnataka has 47. The health department in these states is now monitoring and treating patients.
Matter of relief
Many states, including Andaman and Nicobar, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir, are currently free of active COVID-19 cases, which is a relief. However, two instances of coronavirus have also been identified in Bihar. On the other side, four deaths from COVID-19 have been documented in Maharashtra, two in Kerala, and one in Karnataka. However, 305 people have recovered from COVID-19 over this time.
Health ministry’s guidelines
Experts feel that now is not the time to be irresponsible. People have been reminded to exercise caution due to the changing weather and Christmas season. The Health Ministry has urged people to use masks in crowded areas and be tested right once if they have symptoms. The situation in the country is currently under control, but the health department is continuously vigilant. The administration intends to tighten immunization and monitoring measures in the coming days.
