According to the India Meteorological Department, a possible Cyclonic Storm over the Bay of Bengal will approach the coasts of West Bengal and Bangladesh on October 25. (IMD).
The weather service reported that yesterday’s Low Pressure Area over the north Andaman Sea and the south-east Bay of Bengal remained in place this morning. By October 24, it will have intensified into a Cyclonic Storm over West Central and adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal.
It will move north-northeastwards, skirting the Odisha coast, and will arrive near the West Bengal-Bangladesh coasts on October 25.
