Snehasish Ganguly, president of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), has announced the ticket prices for the next ICC World Cup matches at Eden Gardens.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the schedule for the ODI World Cup last month, which begins on October 5 with a rematch of the 2019 Final between England and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
According to the schedule, the famous Eden Gardens Stadium will host a total of five matches, including one semifinal.
The Cricket Association of Bengal announced on Monday that tickets for the World Cup semifinal match and India vs. South Africa fixture will cost a minimum of Rs 900 (Upper tier), Rs 1500 for D and H blocks, Rs 2500 for C and K blocks, and Rs 3000 for B and L blocks.
The highest tiers of tickets for the matches between Bangladesh and Pakistan (October 31) and England and Pakistan (November 12) will cost Rs 800. D and H block tickets will cost Rs 1200, C and K block tickets would cost Rs 2000, and B and L block tickets will cost a maximum of Rs 2200.
Ticket prices for the Bangladesh vs. Qualifier 1 match are Rs 650 for the Upper Tiers, Rs 1000 for D H blocks, and Rs 1500 for B C K L blocks.
