India vs England 5th Test Highlights Day 5, IND vs ENG: Shubman Gill-led India have clinched a dramatic six-run victory over England – their narrowest Test win in history – in the fifth and final Test at The Oval, levelling the series 2-2 and drawing the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy.
Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj took five wickets, three of which came on the final day, to lead India to victory. England were bowled out for 367 while chasing a score of 374 in a thrilling encounter that necessitated Chris Woakes to bat with a dislocated shoulder. He outfoxed Gus Atkinson to finish his five-fer as India defeated the hosts by six runs in a win that will be remembered for years.
Meanwhile, Prasidh Krishna cleaned up Tongue with a precise yorker, forcing Chris Woakes to come out in the middle. Atkison avoided facing the ball and attempted to smash practically every ball for a boundary, eventually getting out.
Earlier in the day, Mohammed Siraj’s double strike swung the tide in India’s favor, leaving England eight down in a tense finish at The Oval. He struck in his opening over of the day, removing Jamie Smith, putting the hosts under pressure. The tail attempted to strike back, but Siraj was simply too good for them.
