India T20I Squad, Players List for England Series 2025: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named a 15-man squad for the forthcoming five-match Twenty20 International series against England. The defending world T20 champions haven’t lost a bilateral series since winning the trophy in Barbados.
While the next World Cup is in 2026, the squad will try to fill the slots vacated by Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja. In recent decades, the club has followed an offensive strategy and has been able to post incredible tallies on the scoreboard. Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma have been a thorn in the flesh of opposing teams, while Arshdeep Singh has been a significant component with the ball in establishing early leads.
The return of bowler Mohammed Shami to international cricket after a 14-month absence is the centerpiece of the five-match series. India’s Test team has rested key players Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, and Rishabh Pant, while Harshit Rana and Nitish Kumar Reddy have returned to the squad. Dhruv Jurel replaces Jitesh Sharma as the team’s second goalkeeper behind Samson.
The ODI squad for the three-match series in February will be announced at a later date.
