India and Bangladesh 2nd ODI Highlights: Rohit Sharma’s valiant 51 not enough as Bangladesh beat India by 5 runs in the 2nd One-Day International to take a 2-0 lead in the three-match series. The Indian captain had previously been rushed to the hospital for an X-ray after injuring his thumb while fielding. He did not bat first but came in when India were reduced to 207/7 in the 43rd over. After that, Rohit dragged India close to the 272-run target with three boundaries and five sixes. He finished the innings unbeaten on 51 runs from 28 balls. Chasing a difficult target, India got off to a shaky start, but blazing knocks from Shreyas Iyer and Axar Patel kept them in the hunt. Axar was out for 56 in the same number of balls, while Iyer hit 82 off 102. Earlier, Mehidy Hasan maintained his excellent form by smashing his maiden ODI century, remaining unbeaten on 100 off 83 balls to lead Bangladesh to a strong 271/7 in 50 overs. He formed an important partnership with Mahmudullah, who was dismissed for 77 runs.
