India asserted their power on Pakistan once more in the Asia Cup 2025, winning their Super 4 match by six wickets in Dubai on Sunday. India won the game with seven balls to spare, but the victory was much more easier than what the stats say, thanks to Abhishek Sharma’s fiery knock. Abhishek Sharma’s gutsy innings is over, but thanks to his 39-ball 74, India are in an excellent position against Pakistan in a 172-run chase. Sharma’s innings featured five sixes and six fours. He scored 50 runs in 24 balls in the Asia Cup 2025 Super 4 match. Shubman Gill had already engaged in a heated argument with Shaheen Afridi after hitting him for two fours in the fourth over.
At the start of the over, Afridi said something to Gill that enraged him. Even Abhishek was upset with Haris Rauf. Earlier, Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan (58) led the side to a score of 171/5 in 20 overs. Shivam Dube claimed two important wickets for India. Pakistan received easy reprieves at the outset, as Abhishek Sharma lost two catches and Kuldeep Yadav dropped one. Even Shubman Gill dropped one toward the end.
