5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian visited Puri Srimandir early this morning on the orders of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to evaluate the ongoing Parikrama project.
He asked officials to take precautions to ensure seamless darshan of devotees, crowd control, and to expedite mutt restoration and landscaping work.
From 5 a.m. to 7 a.m., he evaluated the project and met with enthusiasts.
The 5T chairman urged the authorities to expedite the restoration of Emar Mutt and Punjabi Mutt, as well as the construction of the Dolabedi region and the painting of the front part of the Parikrama project.
Pandian proposed removing the vending zone from both sides of the great route between Singhdwar and Marichikot chhak and relocating the traders elsewhere.
Pandian has been asked to complete the landscaping work on the temple’s north, south, and west sides by December 9.
The 5T chairman advised that additional competent craftspeople be hired to rebuild the mutts.
He also urged that the electrical work near Meghanad Prachira be finished as soon as possible. He directed that different poles, cables, and other service systems be relocated immediately.
He concentrated on preserving the antique tiny temples and structures near Meghanad Prachira.
Pandian underlined the importance of completing the wastewater treatment plant on time and improving the town’s sanitary infrastructure.
