The Kalahandi Cup will started from 9th April 2022 at different venues of Cuttack, Bhubaneswar & Khordha. The groupclassification of Diamond, Gold & Silver had been approved in the last AGM. The Tournament Committee has approved the
format of Kalahandi Cup for the season 2022–23 which was subsequently approved in the Apex Council held on 28 th March 2022 & details are mentioned below.

1. Each group will be divided into two Sub–Groups i.e. Diamond–A & Diamond–B, Gold–A & Gold–B, Silver–A & Silver–B.
2. Each subgroup will play 5 Nos of league matches & only Silver B will play 6 league matches.
Qualified Teams for Super League:
3. From the League matches Top 4 District Teams of Diamond Group will qualify.
4. From the League matches Top 2 Teams of Gold group will play a qualifier match & winner will qualify for the Super League.
5. From the League matches Top 2 Teams of Silver group will play a match & the winner will play against the loser Team of Gold Group to qualify for the Super League.
6. Two Teams will be formed as Rest of Odisha A & Rest of Odisha B from th non–qualifying teams.
The 2nd Phase of the Preliminary League Matches of the Gold Group has been completed today i.e, 23rd April 2022. The below listed teams will play a qualifier game on 24th April as per shared fixture:
The winner from the above game will join the 4 Teams (Bhubaneswar–A, ECORSA, Cuttack–A & Jharsuguda) who have already qualified to the Super- League Stage from the Diamond Group.
