Bhubaneswar: As many as 1243 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 69427 samples have been tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 1.79%.

Khurda district registered highest 399 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (177) and Jagatsinghpur (88).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 987070 with 12129 active cases.

13. Jajpur: 50
14. Jharsuguda: 4
15. Kalahandi: 2
16. Kandhamal: 5
17. Kendrapada: 32
18. Keonjhar: 15
19. Khurda: 399
20. Malkangiri: 3
21. Mayurbhanj: 35
22. Nabarangpur: 2
23. Nayagarh: 56
24. Nuapada: 2
25. Puri: 69
26. Rayagada: 13
27. Sambalpur: 10
28. Sonepur: 5
29. Sundargarh: 14
30. State Pool: 84

The Health Department also reported 69 more deaths because of COVID-19 as the toll mounted to 6435. Khurda district recorded highest 21 fatalities.
