Odisha Assembly Elections: BJD Announces 7th List Of Candidates For 6 More Assembly Seats

Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik Monday released the list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections in the state. Patnaik announced the party’s seventh list via video message.

The BJD has dropped four sitting MLAs: Subrat Tarai (Raghunathpali), Seemarani Nayak (Hindol), Raghunandan Das (Balikuda-Ersama), and Sunanda Das (Bari). The candidates’ and constituency names are:

• Raghunathpali: Archana Rekha Behera
• Balikuda Ersma: Sarada Prasanna Jena
• Bari: Bishwaranjan Mallik
• Kakatpur: Tusarkanti Behera
• Hindol: Mahesh Sahu
• Bangiriposhi: Ranjita Marandi
