The state administration has conducted a massive reorganization in the Indian Police Service (IPS) cadre.
Superintendents of Police (SPs) from eight districts have been transferred as part of this operation. The districts impacted are Nabarangpur, Khurda, Rayagada, Bargarh, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Boudh, and Kandhamal.According to an official announcement released by the Home Department, 14 IPS officials and 4 senior OPS officers were moved during this round.
Madkar Sandeep Sampath, SP of Nabarangpur, has been transferred and appointed DIG, CID-CB. Kashyam Partha has been named the new Superintendent of Police at Nabarangpur. Vivekananda Sharma, SP of Khurda, has been transferred to CID-CB as SP.
Suvhendu Kumar Patra, the superintendent of police of Ganjam, has been transferred to Khurda. Harisha BC, a Kandhamal SP, has been appointed as the next Superintendent of Police for Ganjam. Ramendra Prasad has been appointed as the next Superintendent of Police in Kandhamal.
Swathy S Kumar, the SP of Rayagada, has been shifted to the Bhubaneswar Special Task Force (STF). Raj Prasad has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police in Rayagada.The notification covers transfers in several critical posts, including the eight districts.
