The Higher Education Department of Odisha has been informed that the Odisha Plus 2 admissions process has commenced. On 7th June 2024, the Odisha Plus 2 admissions online application process will open via the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal.
In order to enroll in Arts, Science, Commerce, Vocational, and Vocational courses offered by the Council of Higher Secondary Education, students must use the official website, www.samsodisha.gov.in. The deadline for applications is 6th July.
For students in the general category, the average application fee is Rs 200; for those in the SC and ST categories, it is Rs 100. Orphans, dibang, and the third gender are excluded.
On July 18, the initial merit list will be made public. Students who meet the requirements can enroll between July 19 and July 23. This time there will be enrollment in 5 lakh 25 thousand 465 seats of 2 thousand 121 colleges of the state.
The maximum number of seats to be enrolled in the arts department is 2 lakh 94 thousand 840, the science department is 1 lakh 66 thousand 929, the commerce department is 40 thousand 104, the Sanskrit department is 13 thousand 88, and the vocational higher secondary school is 10 thousand 504 seats. According to information provided by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, the second year of instruction will begin in the first week of August following registration completion.
