The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rain warning for one or two places of 11 districts in Odisha during the next 24 hours.
Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Balangir, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj are the districts most prone to suffer significant rains.
While severe rain (7 to 11cm) is extremely likely in one or two locations over the districts of Nabarangpur, Nuapada,
Heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20cm) is quite possible in one or two areas over the districts of Sundargarh and Jharsuguda over the next 24 hours in Kalahandi, Bolangir, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj.
The IMD has issued an Orange alert for Sundargarh and Jharsuguda districts, and a Yellow alert for Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Balangir, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj.
During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain/thundershower is highly possible in most districts of North Odisha, South Interior Odisha, and many districts of South Coastal Odisha.

Light to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of North Odisha, South Interior Odisha and at many places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha.
Orange Warning (Be Prepared): Heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20cm) is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh and Jharsuguda.
Yellow Warning (Be updated): Heavy Rainfall (7 to 11cm) is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Nawarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Bolangir, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj.

Light to moderate rain/thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Odisha, South Interior Odisha and at a few places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha.
Yellow Warning (Be updated): Heavy Rainfall (7 to 11cm) very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, and Jharsuguda.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Interior Odisha and at a few places over the rest districts of Odisha.
